Finding Balance

Welcome to our March edition! As I write this letter in late February, I am excited that Spring is right around the corner. For years March 4th has been a favorite date—when I revisit my New Year’s resolutions. I pick up my feet and March Forth with gusto! There are many outdoor festivals these next two months. Check out our magazine's community calendar. It’s beautiful out there!

This new season offers much needed light from the tunnel of the past two years. No doubt, most of us have been negatively affected while this “wait and see” period has unfolded. In these pandemic times, burnout has turned into a societal norm, with employees, parents and healthcare workers reporting record levels of fatigue, cynicism and apathy.

Are you ready to reset and find balance? The article on Burnout Recovery offers many easy tips. Diane Ross is offering an online class on Releasing Trauma and Katie Feuerbach shares the many benefits of her Yoga Nidra sessions. All of these suggestions can create a more calm, joyful life.

Another easy way to lighten up: Put more plant-based meals on the table. Drawn by its health and planetary benefits, vegan eating goes mainstream. Our feature story will inspire all ages with tasty recipes, too.

Safe and Effective:  These are two words everyone wants to hear when pondering a new medical therapy and/or prescription. Even mainstream TV media is admitting that the vaccinee mandates and lockdowns have not been very effective. In fact, everyone I know who has tested positive had received two shots, some had the third! And, we still do not know how safe they really are.

Finally, let’s be thankful that, here in the United States, we still have medical freedom to make our own decisions. And as always, I will continue to report on natural remedies that are safe and effective and share without the fear of censorship.

Happy Springtime—and
To Your Renewal,
