SURREAL FLORIDA

Skye Winter, an artist born and raised in the U.S. Virgin Islands and now residing in Spartanburg, SC, is deeply drawn to surrealist art and finds inspiration in the vibrant colors of her island home.

Her painting “Surreal Florida” is inspired by the state’s vibrant flora and fauna of Florida where she lived for over a decade.

Known for her vivid color palette and whimsical style, Skye’s work—both paintings and photography—has been featured in galleries across Central Florida and South Carolina. She explains, “I love capturing the extraordinary in everyday life. The fleeting nature of each moment compels me to document it through my art, knowing it will never happen the same way again.”
