Born and raised in the US Virgin Islands and currently living in Casselberry, artist Skye Winter is drawn to surrealist art and inspired by the vibrant colors of her island home.

Skye's painting "Becoming" is inspired by her personal journey: "Since moving to Central Florida in 2018, I have experienced much growth, gratitude, amazement, and hope. Recognizable by her brightly colored palette and signature whimsical style, her paintings and photography have been featured in galleries throughout CFL. She shares: "I love to find the extraordinary in everyday life and document what I see. The impermanence of each moment drives me to photograph or paint the subject from my perspective at that instant, knowing this moment will never happen again."
