Spirit of Tranquility Gala Day at Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp
Southern Cassadaga Spiritualist Camp Meeting
Association is hosting Spirit of Tranquility Gala Day from 10am
to 4pm on May 14, 2022, at 1112 Stevens Street, in Cassadaga (GPS city is Lake Helen).
The event will include family fun with a Kids’ Zone, as well as an
educational component with speakers and readings by camp-certified mediums and
vendors. There will also be an open house and book sale. The first 100 attendees will receive swag
bags!
Readings by camp-certified mediums will take
place from 10 to 2 in the Andrew Jackson Davis Educational Building. Other
vendor readers will be available at the Rev. Tom Berkner Building at 1090
Stevens Street. Attendees can check the whiteboard for camp-certified mediums
after 2 pm in the bookstore for availability.
Speakers will be giving
presentations from 11am to 3pm on such topics as “Spiritualism –
A Philosophy, Science and Religion,” “Sounds of Tranquility,” “Personal
Spiritual Philosophy,” “A Short History of Western
Spirituality,” “Natural
Laws –
Being Tranquil in a Changing World,”
“Spiritualizing
the Mind” and “Healing for the Ages.”
Vendors will be selling crystals, jewelry,
clothing, natural soaps and more. Food trucks will be in the parking lot of the
Colby Memorial Temple. There will be a 50/50 raffle and a treasure chest
raffle.
Cost: $25 for
a 15-minute reading; $5 for a ticket for each speaker or an all-speaker pass
for $25; $8 for a Bucket of Crystals
while supplies last. Tickets are available at the information booth. Speaker
