Beaning a Taste of Diversity to Your Table
Arlene
Guffin, Founder of Ain’t Yo Mama’s Baked Beans, took a leap of faith recently
and retired from her day job to bring her popular baked beans to our community.
She shares, “I never thought in all my days that putting a variety of beans
together with flavor and love for church events would one day be sold to a
community of bean lovers.” Beans have protein and eating them regularly have
many benefits.
Her baked
beans have unique flavors (with no meat added). “Sweet & Spicy Original
Hot” and “Sweet & Spicy Mild” are the most popular. Currently, the best way
to get them is on Saturdays at the Winter Garden Farmers Market (8a-1p) and on
Sundays at Orlando (Lake Eola) Farmers Market (10a-3p).
If your
schedule doesn’t allow for a market visit, she accepts special orders, too.
Many will order in advance for events and family gatherings. Arlene can be
