Hummus Heart Salad Bowl
Popular in Middle Eastern Cuisine, Hummus is made from Chickpeas (aka Garbanzo) beans. The beans are full of vitamins, minerals, fiber, and they are a good source of protein. Hummus can be served as a dip, a spread or as a salad dish. My Hummus Heart Salad Bowl recipe with Vinaigrette salad dressing is simple, healthy and easy to make.
1 organic box or can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans
5 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 garlic clove
Vinaigrette Salad Dressing
2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
2 Tablespoons fresh lemon juice
1 & 1/2 Tablespoons Bragg Apple Cider vinegar
1 teaspoon maple syrup
(Add ingredients to a bowl and whisk together.)
Step 2 - Put the garbanzo beans into a food processor or high-speed blender. Add olive oil, lemon juice cumin powder, garlic and sea salt. Blend to a smooth texture.

Hummus Ingredients
1 organic box or can of chickpeas/garbanzo beans

Method:
Step 1 - Open box or can of garbanzo beans and drain off the water.
Step 3 - Add mixed greens, slice cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, shredded red cabbage, sliced yellow squash and radish into a bowl. Add hummus to the bowl. Add vinaigrette salad dressing. Enjoy!
